Vegetales.

Los vegetales, o también llamados verduras, son de muchas formas, colores y con distintas texturas. Los vegetales son una excelente fuente de vitaminas y nutrientes, tanto cocidos como crudos.

Aprender los nombres de los vegetales es importante para ir estableciendo buenos hábitos alimenticios.

Algunos son legumbres como los guisantes (peas), otras son frutas como el tomate (tomato) o la calabaza (pumpkin), y otros son hierbas o especias tales como el cilantro (coriander) y el perejil (parsley). Lo que les hace entrar en la definición de verduras o vegetales es su uso en la cocina.
